MATTERPORT

Matterport provides a Dollhouse view, a photorealistic and submersive perspective that is fully interactive. This is great for helping people visualize room flow, the spatial relationship between spaces and provide a way to navigate quickly to any space of interest. It’s the most realistic way to experience a property online and enables viewers to feel like they’re really there. By sending the Matterport link to your clients, you are inviting them to virtually walk through your listing anywhere, anytime.

RLPA Photography has been a go-to for our team’s real estate photography requirements. Their ability to offer a diverse range of services and tailor each product to our unique needs has been invaluable in showcasing our properties in the best light!

EXPLAINING DIFFERENCES BETWEEN iGUIDE & MATTERPORT

iGuide and Matterport are both technology solutions used for creating immersive 3D virtual tours of real-world spaces, but they have some differences in terms of technology, features, and pricing. Here’s an overview of their distinctions:

Technology:
iGuide:
iGuide uses a combination of 360-degree pano images and lidar laser measurements to create an interactive 3D tour and floor plans.
Matterport:
Matterport relies on a specialized 3D camera that captures both 360-degree pano imagery and Infrared depth data to create interactive 3D tours and floor plans. Matterport’s technology creates a “dollhouse” view, where users can see the entire space from different angles

Navigation:
iGuide:
iGuide provides a floor plan view alongside the 3D tour, allowing users to navigate through the space easily.
The floor plan includes measurements, room labels, and other details.
Matterport:
Matterport offers a “dollhouse” view, allowing users to see a model of the property..
Users can navigate through the “dollhouse” and click on specific locations to enter rooms.

Integration and Compatibility:
Both iGuide and Matterport:
Both iGuide and Matterport offer various integrations with real estate platforms, websites, and other marketing tools.

Data Accuracy:
iGuide:
iGuide places a strong emphasis on accuracy through laser measurements, providing detailed floor plans with precise dimensions.
Matterport:
Matterport relies on depth-sensing technology for its 3D models, and while it delivers the “dollhouse” view, the level of accuracy in terms of measurements may not be as high as iGuide.

Ultimately, the choice between iGuide and Matterport depends on the specific needs of the user or business, including the type of properties being showcased, budget considerations, and desired features. It’s advisable to explore both options, test their capabilities, and evaluate pricing structures to make an informed decision based on individual requirements.
